"Creating art is personal freedom." It is. And doing so has saved the lives and souls of so many, including my own. Art=solace, and impact.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create are audio and theatrical works, and the visual art which accompanies them. Mini bio: TONY® Nominee, 3 X EMMY® Nominee, REMI® WINNER, ATAS®/NATAS®, SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity, ASCAP PLUS Award winner (multiple), Broadway League, The Drama League, The Recording Academy®/GRAMMYS® and its S&C and P&E Wings, and its Musical Theater Task Force/Membership Committee.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is a drop of glory which finds itself suddenly in my head and, hence, I keep recorders nearby in which to sing or speak the ideas as they come. After that, am praying for inspiration to finish the piece. Am not prolific, but satisfied in accepting that, and am grateful for all of the artists in my midst, and to be able to employ them to help me once I do finish.
What would you do with $25,000?Should $25,000 come my way, I would impart it back into the world of the arts to organizations which help artists find their way to their own creations.
