My favorite type of art to create is figurative oil paintings that focuses on significant cultural meaning (both a New Yorker and Puerto Rican heritage standpoint for me) and "underrepresented" animals of New York City, such as roaches, pigeons, and rats.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my everyday life living in New York City! From the people and different cultures, to the different critters and animals.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I will use the funds to help support my goal of hosting a solo exhibition to help bring imaginative storytelling into a gallery space. I would also host free, accessible workshops for the community within the gallery space!
