I love to create art and to share with the people around me. Art not only helps me to express myself but it helps me to connect with others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love any form of 2D art and my current favorite is drawing with pens. People are my favorite subjects to draw. Whether it’s in an anime/comic style or creating realistic portraits. I also like to make children’s books and comics. I find with books it has that added level of story telling and connection that people can relate too.
Where do you find inspiration? For me art has always been my closest friend. I find inspiration from how I am feeling and being able to express myself. I like to find inspiration from other artist in any medium including movies and music. Akira Toriyama had a big impact on me as an artist because Dragonball Z is what got me into drawing. I like studying art history and I find more inspiration the more I learn and revisit older artist.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to develop my own art program that I could share with kids like Bob Ross. I grew up watching Bob Ross and he has had a big impact on my approach to teaching art. To me art is a gift and I love to see when my students get excited about their art and their progress. I would use the money to make a bigger platform to share my love for art.
