I create art as therapy in a world gone mad. Much of my art is the struggle between calm and chaos that is inside us all.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Most of my work is abstract, I use acrylics, paint stick, charcoal, pastels, all combined to build a depth of field in which opportunities arise in each painting to follow and create.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, music, current events, rust on a truck and decaying building, anything that catches my attention.
What would you do with $25,000?My partner Stephanie and I have an animal rescue, we are both in our 60’s so we would like to hire some full time help so we are able to do things together. date night, travel, concerts, it’s hard for us to getaway. Rescues are a 365 day a year commitment.
