I have been a professional artist since 1972, I have created over 1800 paintings, sculptures, and murals, It's been an incredible journey.

My favorite is painting ideas and storytelling with surrealism, All this time I've been able to balance fine art with a certain amount of commissioned work to keep us afloat. I enjoy creating historical murals one of which is a 8 ft. by 23 ft. mural in the Kansas State Capitol, "Brown vs the board of Ed. I also enjoy creating Bronze sculpture I call imaginary hood ornaments. It's so nice getting your hands around and forming the clay in 3 D. My biggest advantage is no one thinks like myself!
Where do you find inspiration?I was always fortunate to have a vivid imagination, I was terrible at most subjects in school however a nun in 2nd grade told me my stories were so different than the other students. This one thing helped me so much! When I began taking art seriously it was the perfect combination, I also get inspiration from the news and have created some political works such as "The Sinking of the White House", "At least I got my Tax Cut" and "Epsteins Fantasy Island"
What would you do with $25,000?I have had some health issues for several years and we haven't been able to get away, We would love to take a trip, relax for a couple weeks then get back to work, The money would also go for framing more paintings for upcoming shows I will have. I could start and finish my newest masterpieces.
