I love working with circles and flowers. There is the opportunity to take a whimsical journey filled with color and wonder. I also love to make Christmas art. It affords me the opportunity to include glitter, sequins, and other forms of mixed media into my artwork. All of these types of art bring me joy and happiness. And as an artist, whatever emotions I feel as I am making a piece, those emotions are then felt by the people looking at my art.
Where do you find inspiration?The better questions is where do I NOT find inspiration?! I find it everywhere. All I have to do is open my eyes and inspiration is all around me. Sometimes it's in a phrase uttered by someone. Or a song title. Inspiration visits me in my dreams, and when I wake up, I have the image. Fashion. Architecture. Shadows. Inspiration can be found anywhere if you remain open to all of the possibilities.
What would you do with $25,000?I would do some investing in my art career. I would take classes and work on improving myself. But such a gift could not be just for me. I would also donate to arts organizations and do my part to invest in the next generation of artists. As a human being, it is my duty to pay it forward.
