Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art to create is painting, usually acrylic on canvas. I’m drawn to it because it lets me move at the speed of thought, catching ideas before they fade. I work quickly and instinctively, letting each stroke land without overthinking. It’s less about control and more about presence. I don’t chase perfection. I let it stay messy, raw, and unpolished.. as long as the emotion comes through. The drips, the texture, the imperfections… that’s where the truth lives.

Where do you find inspiration?

Inspiration, for me, lives in the people I’ve crossed paths with.. my family, my Cherokee roots, artists, musicians, and even those most might overlook. Each has left something behind that finds its way into my work. My art is always evolving, fluid and layered, shaped by whatever I’m exploring in the moment. I’m drawn to creatives who cross boundaries and create without limits. That same freedom lives in my work, where painting, music, and design overlap.

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d turn it into motion.. paint, sound, late nights, and unfinished ideas finally given a place to land. It would find its way into my music, my writing and into every corner of what I create. I’d put it back into my work, pushing it out into the world, letting people step inside what I’m building.
