My passion lies in immersive nature and wildlife photography. I aim to create visual narratives that bridge the gap between the viewer and the wilderness. By capturing raw, untamed moments—from the grand scale of mountain alpenglow to the intimate details of local fauna—I strive to create art that doesn't just hang on a wall, but sparks a conversation about environmental stewardship and the intrinsic value of our natural heritage.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration from the places I visit and hike, particularly during those quiet hours when the first light of dawn hits the peaks. There is a profound energy in the Alberta wilderness—from the rugged trails of the Rockies to the stillness of Elk Island—that fuels my creativity. My goal is to capture the raw, atmospheric beauty of these landscapes to inspire others to cherish and protect the wild spaces that remain.

What would you do with $25,000?

​I would split the funds between enhancing my creative capabilities and giving back to the land that inspires me. A portion would be used to upgrade my photography and video equipment to professional standards, allowing for higher-quality documentation of the wild. The remaining funds would be donated directly to local Alberta conservation efforts, ensuring that the natural landscapes and wildlife I photograph are preserved and protected for future generations to experience.
