Things that exist in the imagination. Something like “Dr. DIRTNAP’S Cremation Station”, that cremates one human head at a time. Then “The Roswell Chamber”, an alien life-support system that houses a being and tends to all of “its” needs until “the others” come back to retrieve him. He knows. Will he speak of it? There’s lights, sounds, moving parts, rust, paint, wires, and no rules. These “gadgets” will be here for people to enjoy and experience long after I’ve left the Planet.
Where do you find inspiration?Artists think differently than most. What we do will manifest in our minds with little effort. Antique hair dryers can become a “Death Ray” or a “Peace Ray”. A beat up radio can surely communicate with “the beyond”. Why not?! Every piece gets a name and a hand-drawn blueprint that shows all of the parts. I’ll look up,“what’s the strongest steel or glass in the World”, and use that to label them. How can we not love this?!
What would you do with $25,000?A wonderful gift came to me from nowhere and I want to share it with as many people as possible. The money would help me create a website, which would allow me to share all of these crazy, wonderful, and exciting ideas that live in my head. Ultimately, my goal is to leave a mark here on this big floating blue ball that we are all running around on.
