The Algorithm I saw in my dream has proven we're all mathematical with our own unique formula and each drawing teaches me how to see it!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love working with charcoal and pencil. It challenges the mathematical algorithm, I saw in a dream, to capture movement, emotion and the ability to perfectly draw detailed imperfections, the secret to making the artwork seem real. Sports celebs, such as Larry Fitzgerald, Earnie Shavers, The president of the Pro Ballers Assoc, Mike Beltran and Marc Goddard from the UFC have been amazing for me and all have signed their drawings!
Where do you find inspiration? The inspiration comes from the story behind the image and mathematical challenge it possesses to teach me something new about the Algorithm, how to apply it, and perspective. I'm still learning how to draw! The pic, in the gallery with all of the numbers is how I create my artwork and nobody has ever seen it before.
What would you do with $25,000?Create a space for veterans and local artists to exhibit their work. Have workshops taught by artists for vets with PTSD and those who just want to learn. Help them find real buyers and network for commissions and create their own online galleries to promote their work. Too many amazing artists don't know what do to with their creations or how to sell them.
