I have been drawing (making art) since I have been conscious. It is the only way to visualize and reconcile a beautiful world gone mad.

My favorite 'type' of art to create is my art. It's all I have. Drawing is the backbone of all art-making— literally and figuratively speaking. Painting is usually the final outcome.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes in many forms, and manifests itself in many different ways. Cartoons, MAD Magazine; old, dirty, beat-up paintings; slang, anything subversive, jingles, and family inspire me.
What would you do with $25,000?Create a series of paintings inspired by and based off Thornton's, "Temple of Flora;" developing an exhibition proposal with my city's art center, and would include programming, events; and adult & children activity workshops. I would work with the Art Center to host a benefit and fundraiser with proceeds going to local community centers. Additionally, I will invest in my artist's account, providing support for materials, exhibitions fees, packing & shipping, travel, workshops, and lectures.
