I love the process of sketching to final piece. I take someone’s ideas and turn them into a piece of art. My friend had a jeep and wanted a mural on his hood of a pirate theme. So I drew a sketch of a beach with a pirate ship and a dead pirate laying next to a chest of gold coins. The theme which I put on a scroll that surrounded the mural saying “Dead men tell no tales “ I then began to airbrush this mural on his jeep hood. A few weeks later he has his dream come true with his new artwork.

I find inspiration everyday with all the creativity and music that surround me. I play bass on a blues band, so if not painting a canvas I’m usually thumping on my bass. I’m like a sponge when it comes to visuals, I can take things in and then convert them to art.

Right now being retired in a very limited budget I would use this money to get a car since mine broke down recently, and I’m without transportation. Also I would buy more art supplies to create more art in my studio. Most of my art is created at the band practice room. If I can get reliable transportation I can continue to give lessons to the community and enhance their lives with art and music.
