Abstract, contemporary art. Abstract art is guided by emotion, energy, and intuition. Through layers of color, texture, and movement working in acrylic allows me to explore both soft, fluid blends and bold expressive marks within the same piece. I create contemporary abstract art for people seeking luxury through layered paintings with rich texture, movement, and refined color.
Where do you find inspiration?Finding inspiration isn’t about being hit by lightning. It’s more about training yourself to notice interesting inputs and then translating them into my own visual language. I look all around me ( sidewalks, shadows, clouds, patterns in a landscape, etc) and I start to see abstract compositions everywhere. My inspiration is tied to real things, even if not visible (stress, boredom, excitement, etc). It is my personal narrative translated into color and form.
What would you do with $25,000?I would build an art studio for children who don’t get the opportunity to create art that expresses how they feels without using words. The studio would invite them to create their own interpretation of how they are feeling. The studio will have many different medias for children to explore what they can’t elsewhere. The studio will provide all that is needed for a child to explore, whether it be paint, clay, and many other materials. D
