I create art out of found objects cast off by the world to be thrown away. Instead I find their true calling as a piece of art.

Assemblages out of old tools, reclaimed wood, broken jewelry, leather. Most of my pieces are representative of an animal. I take things that would have ended up in a land fill and create something beautiful. I also refurbish old leather purses and bags and then paint intricate designs on them. I also create art pottery at a local pottery studio when I have the time.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from many different resources. I regularly read through art books and art history books. I find inspiration from people in my life as well as from other artists in my Facebook groups. Magazines about contemporary art help me stay informed.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use 25,000 to help make a multi faceted studio on my property that I could open to the public, have events, teach classes, and create my artwork to sell.
