Painting is my therapy from addiction. I create shirts to help fight cancer. My favorite are commission pieces. I love a challenge.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is anything that has to do with nature. Butterflies and dragonflies have become my biggest seller. Watercolor is my favorite medium with a little mixed media. I love creating flowers for my CONQUERcancershirts for women who have undergone cancer treatment.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration outdoors, especially at the beach. Palm trees are most therapeutic to paint and art is my number one therapy session. I know a piece is complete when I cry a few tears of pure joy.
What would you do with $25,000?I would open up a studio for artists like myself to have a place to create and sell their artwork. God, my family, friends and recovery have been there for me during my toughest times. I struggled with addiction after major dental surgery. I have Trigeminial Neuralgia and art is my miracle. It would be a dream come true to have my own studio, and share our passion together.
