Painting in a more abstract and conceptual manner, usually in oils and lately on strips of canvas that I weave and prime. The woven strips suggests interconnectedness. The frayed edges of the ripped canvas strips suggests frailty. In one painting, they simultaneously exist together.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. Life offers much inspiration in day to day living with your interactions with nature, with others and with words you read or hear
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue with my disciplined studio practice but also do some traveling to gain more experiences with other cultures and then create art based on those interactions. There is always a common thread that connects everything, both internally and externally.
