I enjoy creating art that invites touch and feeling, sparking smiles, wonder and connection. The process grounds me and is my happy place.

I’m most drawn to creating work that invites connection through touch and feeling. I sculpt paint with thread and resin, building layers by hand until each piece feels alive. My florals are a favorite, watching them transform from liquid paint into something dimensional, while my modern pieces allow me to explore a more abstract, expressive side.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by art, jewelry, architecture, and gardens, often in quiet, unexpected moments. My father was an architect, and watching him build shaped how I see form and design. Since he’s no longer here, creating has become a way I stay connected to him. I’m drawn to color in interiors and landscapes, often stopping to photograph flowers. My mother loved my florals, and creating them now feels both like a tribute and a lasting source of joy for me.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would pursue an art residency in Europe that I previously had to defer. It would give me the time, space, and materials to create a large-scale piece I’ve long envisioned. I would also dedicate a portion to a meaningful family vacation and to support my son’s attendance at his Type 1 diabetes summer camp.
