Mostly ink on the biggest paper I can find. When I can find them, I use old ledgers. I work with brass and glass nibs, sometimes Chinese calligraphy brushes. Most of my pieces are in a series.
Where do you find inspiration?Vintage scientific, medical and botany journals. Nature. I am very inspired by insects and microscopic images of cells.
What would you do with $25,000?Start an annual workshop in Dallas, Texas for people who are trying to get back into their art practice. Or donate it to the Dallas Wildlife Fund.
