I love watercolor painting. The water and pigment dance across the surface. Each movement of the water leaves a mark of where it was when it met the pigment. Every mark making unique. Every layer of pigment supporting the next.
Where do you find inspiration?I spend time outside with my pets all soaking up our vitamin D for the day. The light catches the movement of a butterfly. The colors are magical. Then a bird's cast shadow runs across the ground. Magical moments that inspire me to take a deep breath and start my day painting.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to sale more of my work. I would use the money to invest in myself and my studio practice of making prints of originals to sale. I also would love to travel to take in inspiration from all corners of the globe.
