I was diagnosed with two learning disabilities that seemed to affect everything except my ability to create. So now I paint my dreams.

Oh, I love oil painting the medium is perfect for me since I'm able to blend and play with the paint even while it's on the canvas. I lose myself in my art easily and with a medium that has amazing flow and forgiving characteristics it allows me to forget the world and stay in a state of play as I paint. Not to mention I've made my best works with oil because of its properties.
Where do you find inspiration? Many places but most of all would be nature, music, and my dreams. Numerous pieces of mine including my books were first dreams that were too fantastic for me to not paint or write about. Nature, including human anatomy and history, has always taken the strongest hold for inspiration in my art. And I had to mention music because music is almost always playing when I paint and to me music ties to memories which inspire many of the emotions felt in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?Definitely invest into better art supplies that's for sure. Other than that, I think I'd use it invest back into my business to help get my art out to more people with ads and then production costs (all the not fun but necessary stuff). I would love to host a gallery show of my own locally, and I've been told it does indeed cost money to put on a good show so this will help. If there is anything extra then a nice dinner and spa day for myself to celebrate.
