If I would explain it in one sentence, I’d say that I was born to be an Artist. That’s what I’m good at, It’s my reason to stay alive.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’d choose charcoal pencils and photography. Why? Because I just love that I’m can capture one moment of this life. Everyone knows that you can’t do anything to stop time from rolling. But there’s something that holds it. Like a photograph, a beautiful portrait or a piece that freezes the movement/ momentum of the life itself. That’s why I love to do realism. I love the way my brain works and how my body flows with the movement of my hands moving, and knowing that I’ll create a masterpiece…
Where do you find inspiration?I personally find inspiration when I’m not doing great. It might sound a bit confusing/crazy. But I’d like you to imagine life as a pool, sometimes you are just chilling, but there are times when you start getting tired and no matter how hard you try, you body feels heavier, and starts to go down ‘till you reach the floor. You look up, the top seems to be so far, ‘till you understand that the only way to be were you were is using all the energy you got left and jump and finally be were you were
What would you do with $25,000?Invest on my art skills, materials, and build my studio. I’m planning to use all the money to invest on me, I wanna travel and take courses, meet other artists, go to Florencia, the nest of the artists. I want to be better than my teachers; Michelangelo, Leonado Da Vinci and Dali. I want to proof myself that I was born with a purpose. I want to be proud of myself. I wanna show the world that there’s still people that can make a difference on this planet… to improve… for progress… for my family.
