I love creating art because it gives me a sense of controlled peace and it allows me to exchange my reality with color and texture
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Portraits are my thing—there's something magical about catching someone's soul through their eyes. I also geek out over drawing the male form, especially chasing how light dances across muscles and casts these gorgeous shadows. And when I draw straight onto wood? Chef's kiss. The grain becomes part of the piece, and it takes a life of its own.
Where do you find inspiration?Every day interactions, art shows, magazines, museums, even endless rabbit holes from Instagram. I also obsess over searching the subjects im learning wether is drawing irises or a hand i will search endless pics to practice and then find my original poses
What would you do with $25,000?It would really help me upgrade my art materials, and be able to focus on creating more art, maybe even make the investment into having my first solo art show.
