What is your favorite type of art to create?

Sculpture but specifically objects that demonstrate inherited resilience.

Where do you find inspiration?

The complex histories of displacement and reclamation I and other Puerto Ricans before me have endured.

What would you do with $25,000?

Definitely make more artwork, but stabilize myself and my family first. I have a dream to one day open up a workshop to educated inspiring artists and makers. It would be amazing to collect the gear and tools and place it within a space that fuels a community; not displace.
