Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere I look, I see something that speaks to me. I take it in, digest it and then dive into the creative process using what I have learned. The biggest source of inspiration are other artists and the collaborative nature with another creative who will work with me to create a third artist.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to create a large scale kinetic installation that consists of 23 or more, 1”x10” x 8 foot pieces of wood that I would do a painting on both sides of. The tops of each board would be hooked to an electric mirror ball motor ( would need one motor for each piece of wood) attached to the ceiling. I would use the same palette for each side of the hanging boards so that when it turned, it could be stopped randomly and would create a different picture each time.
