My favorite art to create is a self-developed style I call "Imaginary Expressionism." It is a unique technical union of delicate line work, expressive brushstrokes, and vivid colors. Over the years, I have refined this specific technique to unite figures and nature into a single, harmonious form, creating a personal visual language that balances intricate detail with bold, emotive energy.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is rooted in the seamless connection between the female form and the natural world. I am deeply influenced by the organic elegance of Art Nouveau, which I channel into a style that incorporates figures into the intricate shapes of flowers and trees. By drawing from the endless variety of orchids and the fluidity of nature, I aim to capture a unique, harmonious beauty that celebrates life and growth.
What would you do with $25,000?After 20 years of helping other artists find their voices as a designer, I am now dedicated to my own fine art journey. This grant would be a vital catalyst for my professional transition into the U.S. art market. I plan to invest in premium archival materials to enhance the depth of my "Imaginary Expressionism" and fund solo exhibitions in established galleries. These resources will provide the broader exposure necessary to firmly establish my voice in a competitive landscape.
