As a stream of consciousness way of exploring my psychology and sometimes trauma.

I don't think it really has a name... I've always liked all types of art. Traditional, Art Brut (experimental outsider art), performance art, songs, spoken word (poetry or song), writing, etc. my favorite type to create as a small child was marker drawings of animals with very small eyes for some reason. Dragons too. Then people in pen with shading in both pencil and cross-hatched pen. Then as a teen I delved into psychedelic art. Now I do a cross-pollination between psychedelic and realism.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the unreal and the felt. I can't really put it into words. Whenever I draw, I never map things out, I just let it pour out of me. It's very stream of consciousness. I guess my simple answer is I subconsciously find inspiration in my own psychology. In my early twenties one night I was looking at my art and saw themes and characters even from when I was a small child. I find it very gripping how your psychology manifests in visual art (as well as other art forms).
What would you do with $25,000?Oh my goodness, hehehe, I'm not sure. I think I'd try to funnel it back into the rooms of AA and NA that held me through some intense psychic pain in my youth. When I was making some of the best art of my life, and her, I was deeply unhappy. Hurting. AA and NA both came to me at a time in my life when I was a stranger to self, so I think I owe them that. Beyond that, I think I'd use the rest to relocate to LA or Oakland where the art scene is more vibrant and tangible. I love those places.
