That’s hard. I’m an oil painter with a film problem. I’ll go from oils for a decade and go shoot black and white 35mm for a decade. Right now I am mesmerized by taking pictures with out a camera. Then the circle begins again and I begin to paint.
Where do you find inspiration?Words. Flowers. Images. Memory. Newspapers. Magazines. Photographs. Always work to music. It influences me greatly.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy art supplies. I’d send 4 grand to a local Vermont School that’s struggling for supplies. I would fix up my broken studio , where I live. It’s where I create. Sleep. Eat. Live. I would be very grateful. Although I’m not young, or internet savvy, it’s been impossible to photograph my best work and get it to you.
