I work mostly in graphite, though I frequently dabble in oil pastels, alcohol markers, colored pencils, and various forms of painting. I’m actually working on a mural in my family home currently, which has been a lot of fun to experiment on. Much of my work focuses on portraiture, I find there to be something very compelling about the human face and trying to capture it.
Where do you find inspiration?inspiration is one of those things you can find just about anywhere if you’re really looking. I find a lot of inspiration from the people around me. I have a tendency to study people’s faces, especially if they have particularly unique or interesting features, and I frequently see that reflected in my work.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, a great deal of it would go towards funding my college education. I’m finishing up my freshman year studying psychology while making art for myself. I would hope to also get some new art supplies and such from the money,
