To create anything is to have meaning. To release the hearts anguish and channel it in such a way that evokes awe and wonder. It’s life.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I used to think of myself as a performance artist, as I started with dancing, singing and acting but I enjoy all forms. Depending on the project at hand. I enjoy using unconventional materials and methods. As the creation often reveals more than the final product. How it’s been done and why. What it took. The intention. The gift of life is shown in our deep seated desire to ultimately question, why.
Where do you find inspiration?Wherever I find myself with no words to describe. So, pretty much in anything anywhere. There’s inspiration all around and within each of us, we just need to let ourselves feel it.
What would you do with $25,000?Start my new life. Get out of the desert. And start a nonprofit studio for healing through creative expression.
