You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I write Political Musicals , which consists of lyrical art, Scenes for the stage ( Play ) with a piece of art that transform into a reading and or talking Zine .
Where do you find inspiration? While I was in Pelican Bay State Prison I was in Solitary Confinement for years, I became the youngest Artivist prisoner to help organize the historical 2011-2013 California prison hunger strikes during that time I became a prison journalist and started writing articles for the sf Bayview and California Prison Focus , then I became the director of the same organization that helped me get released from solitary confinement that's when I reached back and started the Campaign Liberate Our Elders .
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to establish a creative space for unhoused, formerly incarcerated and incarcerated Artivist so we could create art that would bolster the message of shared humanity, we would use art & activism to promote our communities street agreement to end all hostilities that was first established in Pelican Bay State Prison, I think putting this together and into a trust will Be a phenomenon for struggling Artivist.
