I create to Cope! It flows through me from some liminal space without thinking. I am embracing my souls rhythm.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to explore, try and study all forms and modalities of art but my first forms were poetry, music and photography. I am a multi instrumentalist, a singer, a writer, poet, photographer, sculptor, seamstress, glass painter, jewelery maker, baker.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature and the human experience. As a neurodivergent and epileptic art is my coping mechanism. When I write or play music, words and melodies flow forth without much forethought. A lyric or a melody comes through like a download. Sometimes they are only poems, deep reflections. Sometimes full songs pour out in less than 20 minutes. But I must strike when the moment moves me. Then I gladly go down the rabbit hole into self discovery.
What would you do with $25,000?Use it towards furthering my art. Self publishing, or creating an album in a studio. Perhaps taking an inspirational trip with what's left.
