Presently I am focusing on Public Art. Large scale outdoor art has the most visibility and potentially the greatest impact . I use a lot of found and fabricated elements in my work. Repurposing items to weave them in to a creative assemblage. Some of these are thematic and others just playful ideas from a sculptors crazy mind .
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in industrial elements from past eras, graffiti, shapes and found objects that are taken out of context and seen as something completely different . @HighVoltageStudio on Instagram
What would you do with $25,000?Continue to create more art and help support other artists . I have been thinking of creating a residency program with other sculptors world wide. I have space in my Boulder studio along with my wife and our other 6 artists to come create in a space for them , their own work ! Then I too could travel and spend a month in their country and studio creating my work , which in essence would be inspired by their culture !
