What is your favorite type of art to create?

If I had to pick one favorite type of art to create, I must say that I always enjoy creating art with colored pencils because of their extensive color choices, high control for detail, and they can very portable. I especially love working with colored pencils on black paper because it gives me the idea where I pull out anything I see, out of the darkness and into the light for the viewers.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find my inspiration from a multitude of sources. I typically find inspiration from any natural wonders and creations of life such as animals, plants, and other wildlife. Sometimes, I like to take my fascination with fantasy, myths, folklore, all things whimsy and give it a twist with my love for wildlife to make something totally unique. Finally, if I want to make art with more man-made content, I use my love for history with antiques, vintage objects, books, and old architecture.

What would you do with $25,000?

I could list about 100 things for what I could do with $25,000 but I know two things I would do that matter the most to me. First, I want to use the money to help my parents because they have been my life-long supporters and investors to help me achieve my dream of becoming an artist. I would also use the money to help maintain and improve my small art business. That would then let me keep living my dream of being an artist while continuing to help support my family as well.
