I love the celebration of humanity, connecting, and experiencing what's interesting. Photography brings me joy and brings joy to others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Portrait Photography. Illustrating the subject to create what I hope will be their legacy, outlasting us. Though my 38-year photography career has morphed over the decades, from editorial photographer, Getty Image creator, to fine art portrait photographer, I have always been drawn to photographing the celebration and accomplishments of humanity. We have to enjoy every up on life's roller coaster. I show the world hope, joy, strength, and what is possible.
Where do you find inspiration?Creating is such a collaboration. I'm inspired by each person I photograph. It is exciting and fun for me to find out: Who are they? What is meaningful to them? How are they unique? My photography experience creates the opportunity for each client to experience one of the ups, celebrate themselves, have fun, feel joy, and bring out their best selves. Our world can be a little more joyful when we can lift each other up.
What would you do with $25,000?Great question! For the studio, there are 2 hand-painted backdrops that I've been eyeballing for a while. For me..., I've been dreaming of a photo safari in Africa. Photographer. :)
