"I like to create visual art using mixed media techniques. I work with oil paint using a palette knife to build dimension and brush on canvas, incorporating additional materials such as organic stones and gold, silver, and copper leaf. I also paint with oil on custom-designed pieces of laser-cut stainless steel. My themes range from realism, where I am to evoke emotions in the viewer, to abstraction, focused on enhancing spaces aesthetically for interior design
Where do you find inspiration?My work is born from fundamental human emotions: faith, hope, and happiness. Through my practice, I seek to awaken awareness and foster a profound commitment to the care of humanity, the environment, the earth, and all living beings that inhabit it
What would you do with $25,000?The first thing I would do with $25,000 is donate painting supplies to a public elementary school. My goal would be to teach children that through artistic creation, we can express our commitment to respect and care for all living beings on this earth. Leaving a legacy in the children of this generation, even if only a few, would give meaning to my life as an artist: knowing I was able to pass on teachings of peace and love, values we so deeply need. I currently live in a very small efficiency
