I have been a working artist since I was 13, I have lived a dream life. My creations will remain on this earth long after I’m gone. Grateful

I love creating hyper realistic paintings of whatever I see in the world. As much as my subject varies, capturing its pure essence has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. I work in acrylic and oil on canvas, but I also paint murals in private homes, businesses and within my community. That’s where I get the most satisfaction, enhancing public spaces, creating art that inspires.
Where do you find inspiration?Living in northern Ontario, Canada, I am surrounded by nature, that’s been where I find most of my inspiration. I’ve been fascinated by the colours in nature, flowers, trees, lakes cloudscapes, sunsets and sunrises. Feeling dwarfed by the immense beauty that is the natural world around us.
What would you do with $25,000?It would allow me to focus on painting what I want to paint, rather than what I need to paint to make a living. As a working artist, I have never had an opportunity like this, so I would take the time to immerse myself in the creation of a collection of pieces that could define me as an artist. I’d also finally hire someone to build me a great web site, one that better reflects the artist I am now, one that can help me reach a broader audience.
