I do alot of up-cycling furniture with my art work, table top designs with wood-burning, painting and mosaics. Headboards and end tables. I also love designing custom hats, headdresses & fasteners for special events (races, music festivals & parades). I love to take vintage stuff or second hand stuff and refurnish & reuse it-Up-cycling ,turning trash into treasure.I love to collage as well. Also love Photography. Writing as well So Id say abstract on mixed mediums.
Where do you find inspiration?Life.love.music.. I love to find beauty in what most would consider ugly. Im a deep thinker,so I feel a lot from everyday things and if I didn’t have a way to get it out, I think I’d probably go crazy.i have had my struggles with addiction and mental illness & The loss of my spouse, so i have spent a lot of time in the dark sad places of the heart, so expressing it through art really helps me to heal and know that all u can do is take it one day at a time
What would you do with $25,000?I I would use a little to get my small business off the ground. The Boho Hobo -which is selling all my up-cycled furniture & art, also my custom headwear. Mainly though, I would use it to buy some land and build a house for my parents and a studio for me. So they wouldn’t ever have to move unless they wanted to, and I’d have some space. I’ve been doing all this out of a one-bedroom apartment. Lol
