I love creating art because it lets me express what I can’t always say and share my perspective with others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating every type of art, painting, drawing, digital and mixed-media pieces that blend traditional drawing with modern tools. My work usually starts as a sketch and builds through layers, texture, and color. I’m drawn to art that feels nostalgic and emotional, like it tells a quiet story. I like experimenting, but I always come back to expressive, personal work.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday moments, music, memories, and small details people often overlook. I’m drawn to vintage and 90s aesthetics, along with personal experiences that carry emotion. Sometimes it starts as just a feeling I can’t explain, and creating helps me figure it out. I think inspiration comes from really paying attention to life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it back into my art and future. I’d upgrade my equipment, improve my workspace, and explore new techniques. I’d also start building a small business, selling prints and products to share my work. Most importantly, it would give me the time and freedom to create more and take bigger creative risks. This would help make a better future for myself and more importantly, my daughter.
