I make art to access my subconscious and express the inexpressible— a silent connection that brings wholeness and grounds me in my body.

My favorite type is psychological. I’m drawn to the mind and how identity is shaped, performed, and fractured through experience. I’m interested in what remains when we stop performing, when the “mask” is removed and external influence falls away. I often question whether a true reset is possible, or if we are always shaped by what we’ve lived through. I’m especially interested in subtlety and absence, as what is withheld can be just as powerful as what is shown.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life. The small, overlooked moments that shape how we feel and understand ourselves. I’m drawn to subtle gestures and unspoken dynamics. I also look into theatrics, otherworldly imagery, and camp aesthetics. These help me reimagine these experiences in more expressive and heightened ways.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funding to create a stable, independent environment where I can fully focus on my work. That means moving into a space and setting up a dedicated studio for painting and installation. It would allow me to fully commit to my practice across mediums, and continue my art school education. More importantly, it would give me the stability to create consistently and share work that connects with others on a deeper, psychological level.
