I create because it gives me a reason to be alive. When my thoughts get too dark, feelings too intense, art centers me ~ it’s my lifeline.

My favorite types of art to create are watercolor paintings and graphite drawings. I have an unwavering love for the traditional brush to canvas, pencil to paper art. I enjoy creating landscapes/florals, still life portraits, and graphite portraits of people.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the artist that I love, the world around me, and my life experiences. I especially draw inspiration from the works of Hwang Hyunjin, Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gogh.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d start a savings fund for my little boy, kick start my art business, give to my loved ones who need assistance, and I’d donate to organizations in my community to help fund artistic programs and scholarships for lower income families. As a single mom to a special needs six year old and creative, I believe the art should be accessible to everyone, no matter their financial status or ability.
