What is your favorite type of art to create?

I like contemplative, sacred-leaning figurative and landscape work — art that feels spiritual, reflective, and emotionally lasting. Usually the beauty of work and everyday life and places. Something that heals but also illumines your mind and heart. I am also a full time iconographer and I love painting icons.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in spiritual reflection, sacred imagery, lived experience, and the atmosphere of place and light. I am inspired by meaning, not just subject matter.

What would you do with $25,000?

If I were to win $25,000, I would use it to invest in my art practice in a meaningful and sustainable way. I would set aside a portion for debts and savings, then use the rest to improve my studio, purchase materials, and support the creation of new work. I would also invest in opportunities that help me grow as an artist, such as exhibitions, and sharing my work with a wider audience. I have started an apprenticeship practice in my studio and would use some of the money to develop this further.
