My work is inherently autobiographical. I paint my feelings and experiences as snapshots of life, to share it with my audience.

My favorite art to create is essentially a visual for lived experience. While my work is autobiographical, I’ve found that while our lives look different on the surface, the underlying 'plots'—loss, hope, transition, or joy—are the same. I love to paint those moments, whether through a landscape or a dreamscape, to create a space where the viewer can see their own story reflected in mine. It’s about finding that basic human connection through the canvas.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration is rooted in personal experience and the emotions that follow. I believe that while our individual situations are unique, the underlying feelings are universal. I am inspired to provide a visual to these 'lived moments,' using my own life as the primary source material. My goal is to paint the truth of a situation—not just how it looked, but how it felt—to create a point of connection that is fundamentally human.
What would you do with $25,000?As an immigrant starting a new chapter in such a dynamic and vibrant country, these resources would be a true catalyst for my growth. They would provide the foundational stability needed to establish a dedicated studio and, more importantly, the means to bring my work to the national stage. This support would allow me to participate in major art fairs and exhibitions across the United States, enabling me to share my unique visual narrative with a much broader audience.
