My heart lies in ceramic sculpture and earth-based art. I love the tactile sensation of raw clay and how it responds to my touch. I often incorporate organic elements and textures that reflect the cycles of nature. For me, there is something magical about taking a piece of the earth and transforming it into a vessel or a figure that tells a story of grounding and growth.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from the unspoken language of nature and the wisdom of ancient cultures. I am fascinated by the way roots twist and stones weather, but also by the timeless artistry of past civilizations. My work is a dialogue between the raw beauty of the landscapes around me and the symbolic structures of antiquity. I’m deeply inspired by the concept of 'nurturing'—how the earth sustains us and how we find healing through these ancient creative roots.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my studio by investing in a larger kiln and professional equipment for processing natural materials, allowing me to work on a more ambitious scale. My vision is to create a community space for 'Earth Workshops,' where people can reconnect with nature through clay as a tool for healing. Additionally, I would fund a public mosaic installation made from recycled materials, bringing a touch of ancient-inspired, sustainable beauty to our shared urban spaces.
