I use art as a language. There are some moments, feelings, memories, that you can not express with words. Imagery doesn't need vocabulary.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Physical art, I can explore textures, mediums, and styles. I use a different technique everytime I create, I try to explore my limits and break any barriers I encounter.
Where do you find inspiration? My peers. I've learned so much with them, seeing them develop their styles, stories, and Excell in their mediums inspires me. A peer is more than a mentor, they're a friend. They know me, my family, where I've come from and where I want to go. We learn together, and that gives me the confidence to keep exploring.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to publish graphic novels, I remember admiring every page of "Smile" by Raina Telgemeier when I was a kid, which inspired me to pursue art. I want to inspire people to be creative, to tell their stories.
