You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
So many to choose from…. Pencil drawing, Cardboard art, And Clay sculpting. I would say the one that brings the most satisfaction right now, is working with clay. I even surprise myself with the finished piece at times! I recently entered a sculpture into an exhibit titled “Beautiful Noise” and I won 3rd place. It was an experience beyond belief!
Where do you find inspiration? My mind is constantly going. I find that most of my work is made to be given away as gifts. I think this brings me a lot of inspiration. I can picture a friend or a family member and visualize what piece of artwork would be a perfect gift. I’m fortunate to have a close group of friends and awesome grown children who support me and my creativity.
What would you do with $25,000?Oh my goodness! My first thought is travel. One of the items on my bucket list is to travel to Portugal and rent a place for a month and just become immersed in the beauty. I’ve never been there which is odd, but I’m trying to get there this fall to check out where I may make my dream come true.
