If I’m not creating I don’t feel really alive. My heart, spirit and everything around me must flow out onto the page.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Colored pencil has long been my favorite medium, though I do paint and digital is now in play. The work I create is not realistic, but whimsical and colorful. I feel that when I am working, spirit is flowing through me and onto the page. Three dimensional pieces, as well, are sometimes a part of my exploration into the beauty and joy of life.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, especially flowers, is a major inspiration for me. They seem to speak with their shapes, color and movement. As Spirit moves through me and Angels talk to me, I am thankful every day for my own heart and the gifts I have to share. That is my inspiration—to help others see and feel in a new way.
What would you do with $25,000?Produce some affordable and unique printed materials to include art work and inspirational text. Create workshops and events to help people to see life and each other in new ways through art, imagination and communication.
