Art was my first languageāan honest way to transform emotion into something visible, permanent, and deeply human. It is therapeutic as well.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Tattooing. It is the most intimate form of art I know—where trust, identity, and expression meet. Each piece becomes a living narrative, carried not on canvas, but through a person’s life forever. You're working on a living breathing human being. That takes alot of trust. I branch out from there, painting, digital artwork, murals, crochet even baking I consider as an art form. Art is deeply rooted in my everyday life. I can’t see it being anything other way.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere—anime, paintings, music, and real life. I’m inspired by emotion, contrast, and the darker sides of human experience that most people don’t always see. Inspired by the bright and colorful vibrancies as well. My inspiration definitely takes on many forms.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d travel to Japan to study art and tattoo culture firsthand, grow my craft, and bring that influence back into my work and community.
