I create art to give form to memory, light, and feeling; turning inner landscapes into visual journeys.

I create immersive mixed media abstract paintings built through layers of translucency. In ‘Inheritance of Light’, forms emerge, dissolve, and reappear—carrying memory, presence, and transformation. Through layered acrylic processes, light becomes a language of emotion, creating atmospheric spaces that invite stillness, reflection, and human connection.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration emerges through process—guided by memory, light, reflection, and nature. I am drawn to moments of stillness and awareness, where perception begins to shift and deepen. My mother’s influence remains deeply present, shaping how I see and create through her sensitivity to material, form, and detail. Teaching also fuels my work, as I witness others discovering their voice and sense of becoming.
What would you do with $25,000?This support would allow me to expand Inheritance of Light into a new body of large-scale work, deepening my exploration of memory, light, and identity at a pivotal moment in my career. It would also strengthen my role as an educator—creating opportunities for students to develop their voice and share their work with their communities. I see this not only as support for my practice, but as a catalyst for amplifying creativity and connection in others.
