There’s a feeling that overcomes me watching someone get lost in my work. It’s like falling in love for the first time.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating abstract pieces. It’s an interesting experience to hear what others see in the pieces I create. Especially when they see something I haven’t discovered in the painting yet.
Where do you find inspiration? In everything I see. But most of my inspiration comes from things I see out in nature, a beautiful expressing love and consideration, a child laughing, the burst of different flavors from my favorite food dish….. it’s all a reflection of what these things make me feel.
What would you do with $25,000?I would be able to buy a vehicle to get to art shows and exhibits. Doing that would enable me to create financial relief for me and my family. I’m in a state of rebirth. Winning this could be the catalyst of changing years of hardship and stress. I’ve been told this dream is silly and I’ll never make a living from it… I can’t give up on myself. I’m proving them wrong.
