Lately I’ve been enjoying sculpture in stone, bone, shell, and other organic materials. But more broadly I love creating art with some practical purpose. Be it a knife or a violin, a buffalo skull lamp or kitchen table.. I love my art to be handled, used and gathered around.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere. From rivers mountains and starling murmurations, to conversations with people living under freeway bridges. Music, Extreme weather, world travel and cultural exchange. Language, music.. solitude and social interaction, suffering and prosperity.. all of it. It is all paint for the canvas
What would you do with $25,000?I would rent a small art studio for six to 12 months and set up shop. I have the tools just need the space! This opportunity would be incredible.
